Internal database

After the installation of the Expert Network Inventory, all information collected by the ENI Agent module in the form of XML files is stored by default in the internal database based on the embedded Firebird database engine with the server library supplied with ENI. If you run ENI on a computer with the Firebird server already installed or want to use the Firebird server installed on a remote computer you can choose to use it changing the Database settings at the Preferences dialog. The Firebird server can also be downloaded freely from the official Firebird site.

You can connect to the ENI database and look through it as well as to any other Firebird/Interbase database using any suitable database viewer. A detailed description of the database can be sent by request.
